locke_1 - Why do peeople use underscores? I never understood that!!! Thanks for that post. I have frequently and today expressed my frustration with the NAZ but this last half year it has been because I didn't think the rises were necessary. I believe that Naz has been the engine of the economys growth. I don't believe the labor market was that tight or that additional workers could not bre brought back into the job market. My view is that Mr G launched a deliberate and determined onslaught on the NAZ also in my view without justification. The result of this irrational behaviour has been to run the US economy into a brick wall, dragging the rest of the World with it. I believe that this mess has only just started and it is goning to take a firm and decisive action on the part of the Fed to reverse the damage. Indeed it has now gone so far that it may be difficult to reverse for many years. Think how quickly he put up rates when there was really not much need. Now does he act as fast to help he economy? No just sits and watches as the business environment goes from bad to worse. Time will tell how history what history will say about this greatest act of financial vandalism ever.
