Point is, that all of these things, some individually and some combined create a substantial doubt.

Because you dont have an unbiased election official or judge counting the Broward votes (and making a legal determination which allows spinmeisters to do their thing) combined with the fact that the ballots have been handled many times, the outcome will always be questioned. Dimples or no, The only truth that matters is who really would have won. So whose truth will be known ? yours ? mine ? Algores ? GWB ?

You seemed to skip over the fact that Isikoff witnessed obvious bias on the part of the election officials.

I dont remember the source for the 19000 votes. It was a long article using statisitical analysis and sampling. It will never be proven that there was or was not tampering, and I would doubt any final conclusionon to that effect. Only point is that substantial doubt exists and that will never go away.

The 5000 is more than a guess, it is based on a reasoned analysis. This sort of thing has been done on this kind of situation many times in the past. Articles should be easy enough to find. Yes, you can play what if all day. Which is exactly the point. We will never know.

The 400 illegal votes is docmented in the Miami Herald. These individual ballots cannot be traced. There are some that can (be traced), which is a separate type of vote. This is also in the Miami Herald. You are right. Maybe it is a wash. We will never know. You have made my point quite well actually. ;-)

I will stand by my hypothesis on the recount. Yes the recounts are still underway, but again the point is that all of the heavily democratic areas have already been counted and Algore is still behind. Counting the republican areas will most likely net GWB votes.
