those run ups puzzle me. Especially UTX. They have a huge non-aero, non-defense business base which will experience some slack growth if the economy is really cooling. Their aero businesses aren't growing much to begin with which is why they were interested in HON.

But I guess they are part of the rotation thing that has become Wall Street. Money has to go somewhere and how much Merck can one buy? -g-
