Has anyone on this thread received their SNDK rebate in a timely manner? I am still waiting for my rebate....months late.

Prophet, you are correct.

There was an "instant savings" on Amazon.com
for certain SanDisk products, but I am not
sure if this was absorbed by SanDisk or Amazon
or both. I pretty sure it is not a mail-in
rebate like the ones in late Summer at
Circuit City.

SanDisk may have matched pricing with Viking
on Amazon and taken a hit for it. I don't see
how you could shave $25+ off the list price
and not take a hit.

The 32MB SanDisk CF card sells for $60 plus
shipping on Amazon and costs about $80 to $90
at retail. If inventories are truly low at
Amazon (one to two week delays) I would expect
the instant rebate would be lifted. At $25 per
card they (SNDK) couldn't keep the offer up for very
long without wringing the margin totally out
of the product.

I also cannot imagine SanDisk selling SmartMedia for a loss.
