Sitting on long term support: 15 months

I had been looking at that. That is one of the reasons I put a stop in at 13. I figure if it breaks 13.5 it would probably go to single digits. I still believe the odds are it will break the other way, but I am not willing to bet the farm. Where would you have placed the stop on this one if you purchased at 14.5? I started to place it at 13.5 originally but decided it might be too tight in this current market. Also, how reliable is TA when going into the first trading day of the new year? Trading was thin last week with a lot tax loss selling. What worries me a little is I believe this is the first time in about 12 years or so that the market over all wasn't up on the last trading day of the year.

My only tech holdings currently are AMD, TER, and RFMD. I am hoping to see a January rally in each of these into which I was planning on selling if the market continues to struggle. I was busy the last few weeks or I probably would have jumped in and out of RFMD a couple of times. Oh well. Starting next week I will begin following the market closely again. I still think we are going to have a long year in which a lot of day traders will be looking for real jobs.<g>
