My ZContest picks: - 1- ATHM - Excite@Home, largest broadband ISP provider, screwed up this year by the disarry at T, and some poor decisions made over the past few years: here are some of the reasons i like ATHM: boards.fool.com also chart: siliconinvestor.com 2 - EXDS - Exodus Communications, leading IDC provider and major player in providing secure internet communications centers for major US and Intl industries. Still losing money, but has consistently increasing revenue, strong customer base that will provide continue streams of income, strong management and game plan. EXDS is my pick for a huge gainer in 2001. siliconinvestor.com obviously there are many stocks with similiar chart patterns this year. i like exds and athm because of their business plan and leading niches in growth industries. also rans: GBTVK at a buck, CMGI, LMGa (close third), like airlines A LOT, but dont think they have the springboard potential to get the percentage gain necessary to win the Boxster S. larry

ZSTOCK CONTEST 1-2-2001 to 1-31-2001 RULES 1. Everyone is welcome to participate, lurkers also. Please post your 2 stock picks to me on the Zbest Place to Talk Stocks thread, or email them to me at: pzimm@bitstreet.com 2. Each participant is to pick 2 stocks either long or short to hold during the duration of the contest. 3. Buy price will be the closing price on 12/29/00, sell price will be the close on 1/31/01 or anytime during the contest. If you sell, then your gain/loss on this particular stock is locked in for the duration of the contest. 4. Post 2 stock picks prior to market open on Tuesday 1/2/01. Picks will assume to be long unless otherwise specified. (Indicate in headline of post that these are contest picks) ALL ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED to participate. Late entries during the day of Jan. 2 will be allowed, due to the short notice of the contest. 5. Include a brief summary, TA, FA, or whatever if possible. 6.
