We need the old economy guys to get worried and start dumping a few shares before this is over. GE for example is still highly valued. They claim no impact to earnings from the slowing economy, bankrupt M. Wards div, closing of auto leasing div., recall of 3.1 M dishwashers, purchase of HON, all within the last few weeks. I think the final stage of a bear market should be some capitulation outside the controlled selling we've seen. Still looking for a massive spike on the VIX some day. Meanwhile Europe stocks and some small cap value looks good. Small caps should lead coming out of slow times. M.
