TT, ignore the UMTS stuff. It's irrelevant to Globalstar and if anything, will enhance our profits by introducing a huge need for internet access, which only Globalstar will be able to supply economically to people who also want voice communications out of terrestrial range.

Also, PCSTEL is up a gum tree with this 'constellation is worth ZERO in BK' stuff. His Exit 1 to 26 theory is wrong. The simple answer is that the new constellation owner would simply hold and auction, selling bundles of 100 million minutes to the highest bidders.

Let's suppose they put the first 100 million minutes up for sale [to be paid for as used and to be used any time over the next 5 years] at auction. Would Vodafone bid $1000? If the Mexican service provider bid $10,000, would GlobalstarUSA really let it go at 1 cent for 100 minutes? I doubt it. Sprint might even bid, because they could buy a gateway, get it installed in a year, then get spectrum from the FCC [who would definitely give it to them on a shared basis since Vodafone was so useless with it], and undercut all those absurd roaming charges we hear about, including Verizon's.

I think the new owners would get some pretty good bids from 30 gateways, not all of which are owned by Vodafone.

PS It's nice to see you and PCSTEL so friendly! Doesn't it make you feel all warm and welcome? Calling his comments an interesting perspective is so nice. I think he's as crazy as all get out with his ZERO VALUE and Exit 1 is closed theories.
