The Husband is a software engineer by background but is now into management level at his firm. He tells me they are HIRING LIKE CRAZY and HERE'S the funny part...He said when he interviews these laid off people they say the following: You know our company going under (getting in trouble) is the best thing ever happened to us. We were working so hard we had NO IDEA how much our skills were worth. After getting laid off we found we can make EVEN MORE MONEY. His office is in Round Rock and when I told him I heard Dell was laying off, he said, "I didnt know that, I got to get back to Texas and see who I can recruit from there". So, it AINT BAD EVERYWHERE. When market takes a fall like it has this year in TECHS everyone starts to moan and groan and those wishing to be published write all these crazy articles. BUT, I ask ALL of you. Are you replacing your car with a horse and buggy, are you dropping the internet hookup, will you stop using your cellular phone (I can go on but you get the point) OR are you looking to UPGRADE your AUTO to the latest Technology, looking forward to a Cellular phone you can access the internet and anyone on earth at any time, you looking for an even faster internet hookup?
