Snowing like crazy, at least 10 inches already. A pain, because I have to pull numbers for a Playoff Pool before 12:30 when the first football game is played.

It's a ten thousand dollar pool, these people are not going to be happy if everything isn't above board.

Speaking of Irish memories, there is a lovely sweet tale of Ireland on the tube. A soulful true story of the friendly Irish called the General.

This guy makes the Sopranos look like sweethearts. I just watched a scene where he accused a member of his gang of stealing from him, had the guy placed on a snooker table and crucified him.

Reminds me of my childhood. This flick has a lot to offer in the manner of religious symbolism.

By the way, if you are familiar with the "grandmother" remark then you know just how scornful it is. I don't think I can recall many (if any) remarks more demeaning.
