Personally, I think he did it to get George W elected. Economic difficulty hurts the incumbent party, after all, and it didn't take much to swing THIS election.

But please let's not start the flurry of Dubya posts; I know many of you disagree with me, and really don't want to go down that road again. Let this my one little tit for Dennis' tat and let it go at that. <g>

Dear Dennis: Nope, I dont think that at all. In FACT I think AG is going to play ball with GW. First off he owes him one for the shaft he gave his dad and Second, did you note AG was the FIRST person GW went to visit when he went to Washington?? GW is no fool, he knows what needs to be done to get this thing rolling again, and AG's ego is big enough that he will want to be part of it too. Thats JMHO of course. JDN
