Your logic is very flawed. I could address it in several areas but I will focus on just one. INTC does NOT have to lower prices just because AMD does. AMD does not have the capacity or the design wins in key market segements to impact INTC. INTC prices will not fall the way you predict. Its like saying someone with a pea shooter can cause a worldwide nuclear war. AMD has a pea shooter and INTC has the nuclear weapons. INTC will not follow AMD down the sewer, although INTC may go further down the sewer due to the economy but not due to AMD price competition.
