I gave my nephew one of those cyberkinetics programmable remote control robot kits for christmas....I figured that it would get him off the "when can we build a battlebot" kick for a while. My offer was "if you can make a working robot and program the movements and get the RC to work, we can start talking battlebots". I figured it would take him a month or two to make a simple car......AAANNNNKKKKK!!! Two nights and he has a multifunctional robot. Considering that I have been working in the computer biz for almost 20 years now and my 13 year old nephew can figure this crap out quicker than I can, it scares me how far ahead JXN will be when he is 13. Hell, to him, I'll appear like.....ummmm, well, the way I see my Dad. Maybe I'll just ask JXN how to install my firewall. He'll probably figure it out with his random key punches faster than I will reading the directions.
