Hi Jorj, glad that you are at last satisfied. I wonder how Digital TV will play in this regard. Will you have second thoughts? Or, was DTV already available in your area? BTW, I just noticed... thanks for paving the way for me to post the 10,000th message here in The LMT Thread! FAC

"On another note, Pacbell finally provides DSL service to my home. I got it installed today. I put the guy through a battery of questions...of course. It appears that they pulled fiber to the cabinet and installed the DSLAM right around the corner..." Jorj- If you get a chance, can you walk up to your neighborhood NGDLC and pick up some manufacturing labels off the cabinet? If it's anything like remote cabinets in my area, seems they are being worked on them almost daily where I can look inside to see what's in them too. So far none of them have been converted to NGDLCs. Most are just STUFFED full of twisted pairs. Thanks. -MikeM(From Florida)
