Barbara,

Remember his words back in March...."Sudden wealth of the middle class". In his view, there was certainly something wrong with the "average joes" making an extra buck. That anomaly had to be dealt with immediately.

Just imagine how horrible it would be if middle class folks had made some extra cash.....No, no, we mustn't have any of that!!!

Best of luck in the New Year,

Vince

Aren't you people tired yet of blaming someone else for your woes?

I'm not sitting here wishing ill will upon you or anyone else, but I do believe that there was an excessive creation of wealth in this country...brought on by his lowering of rates a while back. He is only tightening the reins on the economy.

For those that thought this market would continue the way it has for the last five years will get what their short sightedness perscribes. Sometimes, an economy, just like a physical body needs a real purging of the system to regain it's health. Just like so many over weight people in this country, our economy has mirrored this excess.

Unfortunately, we still have a ways to go before we cut out enough fat to become a lean machine.

It's still not to late to save what you have remaining from the boon, but if you keep the same mindset of the last few years, you will lose it all. This is all my uneducated opinion, flame on at will.
