From NewsMax.com:

Clinton Clinging to White House Drapes

Conservatives have joked that Bill and Hillary Clinton are so
power hungry that, come Jan. 20, they'll have to be dragged
kicking and screaming out of the White House clinging to the
White House drapes.

But now there's a report that actually seems to confirms that
bizarre prediction.

According to the Washington, D.C. based public interest law firm
Judicial Watch, Bill Clinton intends to retain an office on
White House property -- even after President-elect George Bush
takes office next month.

"Clinton is seeking to improperly use White House funds to help
pay to set up office space in government townhouses across the
street from the White House," Judicial Watch reported in a press
release Friday.

"Clinton plans, according to sources, to use the space for his
post-presidency offices. The space, part of the White House
complex, is in a Jackson Place townhouse once used by Teddy
Roosevelt after he left the presidency."

But since Roosevelt's day, the building had traditionally been
used by the current administration, not by hangers-on from the
departing crew.

Judicial Watch says its sources for the astonishing information
are "well-placed and have proved reliable in the past."

"In essence, Bill Clinton has no intention of leaving the White
House after his term ends," says the group's president, Tom
Fitton. "He seems intent to set up a shadow presidency within
the White House complex itself."

As you know, the 30y bond yield is tilted, it is a quite illiquid duration, and the yield is too high because of anticipated buybacks.

They can drop like a rock on a change of politics.
