Most Americans agree with the Democrats on the issues. That is why Gore won the popular vote by 540,000 votes. That is why the Democrats gained seats in the Senate and gained seats in the House. That is why, in 2002, the Democrats will gain control of the Senate and the House and will pick up on the number of Governors who are Democrats.
