Yes...that was when...we were still into "paper"

remember...when we could first use MYM to print out the checks...on that rachet paper....and then we would pop them into those envelopes that had the holes for the address and return address.. (MYM= Managing your Money software)
I loved Tobias' little jokes ("with your networth every charity in the world must be after you"..haha)

or...finally moving to Checkfree to pay all the bills (even the gardner) electronically....that was about 10 years ago or so..paying my bills via the fed reserve system...lol

yeah...we have come a long way...pretty slowly...but now that critical mass has been achieved...and voice/smaller size/more applications bring normal non geeks in....it should really get interesting...

ever check out the Intel museum??...heck...we will be monitoring our pets....from work. They have a lot of stuff...in their hopper beyond...simple semi conductors..lol
