I just thought it might me a good idea to explain your perspective......... very well. here is my perspective: i had written a longer "perspective" but in interest of common sense, i have shortened it and i will simply say the following: first of all, i have no idea why you find that post "racist". i personally have many mexican friends. i like them in spite of having enormous philosophical differences with most of them. this does not stop me from listening and/or telling them certain jokes, as the main intent is to laugh. they do not mind, and i certainly do not. my "listing" of the 5 things was made in jest. in addition, you will find many mexicans ARGUING STRONGLY that at least the tequila, the tortillas and getting rid of the PRI, indeed ARE some of their favorite things. if you read something that it was not intended, such was not the intention. clearly, this bothered you. for that i am sorry and i present my apology. since you do not approve of my humor (which the post was so intended), i will, by my own account, refrain from posting here.
