Greta, Your post about your friend touched me a great deal. I've been thinking about it all afternoon. First, my heart goes out to you for having lost your family. That is an almost unimaginable loss. It's struck me in my own life, though, how the worst adversity often gives bloom to something good, if we can hang on long enough (and keep our hearts open)to allow it to happen. May we all have just one friend in our lives who enters it by choice, who stays throughout our darkest nights, and who loves us despite ourselves.
