Can someone tell me where the best margin rates are out there?

Schwab is at 9.5% for balances over 50K.

Elmer,

Thanks for the response. Overall, I am much more worried about the economy than AMD. I think INTC would use all the excess capacity to build inventory for P4 when the advertising begins in April. This way they don't have to slow the fabs down and they put most of the production costs in inventory during the slowdown. This could also allow them to bring prices down faster and get P4 penetration rates up just as .13 ramps, thus establishing a bigger performance gap earlier. Remember, Andy and Paul O. have said that even at .18 P4 margins are better than P3. The analysts have all questioned this and Andy's response was "there are alot of ways to take costs out of the product that must not be in your model".

gotta go, talk to you later,

Elmer,

Did you really say this, Mr. Phud?

The 1.2GHz Athlon is in very short supply and it's reasonable to conclude they have run out of gas in increasing the clock speed
