Hi Jim, "I was puzzled, in this exchange, by your use of the word 'provocative'. If provocation was felt, none was intended." And none was interpreted as such. Maybe I made a poor selection of words upstream when I stated that your post was "provocative." I meant the good kind of provocative, i.e., the stimulating effect, the catalyst, that prompts one to new levels of insight in a topic. I didn't mean the negative provocative that might imply aggression or the like. I can assure you that I used the term in only the most collegial of ways. I've read your superb post several times already. I think that it is worthy of SI highlighting in Cool Posts. Great stuff. Thanks for taking the time to explain in greater detail your intents in previous posts. For now, I'll sign off, but I want to come back to some of the issues you've raised later on. I found some of your more recent points to be very.... *inspiring?* ;) FAC
