T, The old Bank of America was nearly all California, but I don't know their asset makeup since the merger with NCNB. But that is where I'd look.

Try WM for a californian crash play
WM is a savings and loans with exposure to real estate.
Also Jim Jubak likes it after it more than doubled and he has been a great contrary indicator lately <g>.
