let's face facts here... iran/contra was way kewl how can there have been a scandal when such a noble cause was served? sandinistas were a bunch of hypocrites. contras ('commander zero') were 'kick a!!!' so even if the money came from the iranians, it went to a good cause. mostly it's the 'ivory-tower-pods' can't see that. 'poet socialists' my sexy white a. anything which would in any way bring to an end, the persecution of the aboriginals ('mesquites') - which the 'poets' were carrying out with virtual impunity - well that was really a good thing. as in iran, in nicaraugua, when the 'poets' came to power they simply put a different group of people into the jails -- the very jails which had been used by the people who once oppressed them....
