ACS Avcan Systems ACN-v might get a sudden burst of interest in 2001

In my opinion, not much credibility on that call considering the pumping on the MOMO thread last year when ACN was $2+

March 6 2000
Many private placements done, hardly any stock
for sale. Expect lotsa really fine expertise in this company to achieve this accomplishment, but good luck trying to pick up stock

Message 13065294

only 3.7 million shares according to their news releases, so the upside cud be, well, dare I say big, lol we c....imagine if some of those 700-800
utilities and all those peoples start takin a liking to this stox!

ACN-v bid up a bit but not much stock gonna come out cause only 3.7 million shares , lots of private placements, and dey gots der stoxs locked up in
da cupboards.

Ed - I had a long chat with ACN-v John Dougherty 604-654-1855, and my perception is this is a fantastic little company with great growth potential,
and takeover in the $4-5 range or higher. The EPRI report on the transmission line award is still not out (but any day will be), so when that hits the
700-800 utilities and everyone starts to look at this we gonna have some akshuns. Just imagine a world renowned organization such as EPRI sending
out a report on your comapnies technology to 700-800 potentail clients/customers!!!! We c.. reason doesn't trade much is an insider holds 31%, and a
lot of the other private palcements all looked up in da cupboards

Another is ACN-v, ACV-ASC Avan Systems, which has just won a competition for the best transmission line surveillance
system using infrared camersa, digital stereo cameras, GPS systems, all rigged up in a helicopter. It has an excellent business prospect going forward as
the EPRI report is now going out to 700-800 utilities, and they expect their 2000 earnings revenue to triple. Hard to say with anything, but 31% of the
shares is held by one insider, lots of private placements with institutions, so not much stock comes on the market. This is a niche market, and may very
well have a forthcoming fit with Enghouse Systems ESL which is in another related part of a niche market, and doing very well trading at $12

Message 13136956

ACN-v me trasnmission line surveillance company trading very lightly cause all the insiders, and institution holders hanging on to this puppy for $4 buxs
or so

Message 13139482

With ACN whcih i think has enormous potential, we
are not trading much yet but holding around $2. It isn't likely to trad much as one insider holds 31%, other hold shares as well, and institutions have
bought in for the home run, and aren't selling. The EPRI report is yet to go out, but will check on that tomorrow, so we might have to wait a bit on this
one. Sort of like coffee though, after it percolates for a while, is pretty good. With Romarco, we can expect it to trade well up into the high $2 range so
they get the 4 million warrants cashed in for shares and load up Romarco with another $8 million

, I'm fairly good at due diligence since i track about 200 companies or more
Message 15117766

Surely anyone who was "fairly good at due diligence" would know how many shares were out? Yet we see repeated reference to 3.7 million shares in March 2000. Anyone could spend 30 seconds at Sedar and find:
Balance, January 31, 2000 8,952,729

So, we're left to wonder was there any due diligence done while this was repeatedly spammed, or was the caveat in one mention "according to their news release" intentional while the poster knew there was really far more? FYI, in case you don't know LOL, at Oct 31 2000 there were approx 12.5 million out plus approx 6 million options and warrants. It's easy information to find...for anyone who does the slightest amount of due diligence.

Still see a buyout coming towards the $100 million level for this company that lost $2.5 million on sales of $575,00 for the 9 months ending Oct 31? Looking at the balance sheet, wouldn't that be just a tad rich?

Since you're in such close contact with the company, maybe you could save me some time? What is the company's current cash level and how does that relate to near term working capital requirements? I just want to make sure I'm not considering buying a company that will require heavy dilution if financing is required with a share price in the .20s. You do look at the finances of the 200 companies you do due diligence on, don't you?

Hi Jimsy, waiting anxiously for your report on ACN's finances, it's so important to be up on the fundamental stuff when investing in companies with no liquidity in the stock.

While you at it, can you confirm your figures about insider ownership? I don't remember exactly, but your numbers don't seem right. I'd go back to sedar and check, but since your in such close contact with the company and are so good at doing dd on all those companies you follow, I'm sure you're the one to ask.

TIA
