I will never forget when I was a kid and my Marine uncle pulled up the shirt of a Cuban guy at the ball field and said: JFK promised air support and this guy took it in the guts because they never showed. It was horrible twisted scarring. Even as I remember later seeing so many wounds. I never knew about the man except the he said Mickey Man-tel sort of... ;) We all played ball , but I heard that time and again from Cuban Americans as well as Marine veterans. TG
