JQP, here's a fresh link to yet another energy analyst willing to bet that we're not yet close to balancing natural gas supply with demand. Compelling evidence indeed. And, notice too the interesting new SI thread on which the posting appears.

I had promised myself I wasn't going to post anything late New Year's. But thought I would mention that our furnace (gas-fired steam boiler) definitely is coming on with a louder BOOM! than ever before and also the btu content on the gas bill per ft/cu seems very high.

I didn't realize there was a problem in Canada. Maybe will go on margin and expand NG investments.

John, We know for certain there will not be a zero storage. The only question is how much economic impact the supply and demand battle will have. If the weather does not warm there will be consumption reduction by either price or edict - my bet is that there will edicts of some form. Hey - I bet the dems can find a way to blame this on Bush!
