Did you ever stop to consider that maybe, just maybe, it was the Truman Doctrine?

Hey, maybe LBJ and Nixon were telling the truth, it was about standing up to our commitments to our allies. That whole commitment, American resolve, and Communist containment thing they were always harping on.
