Shane, I can tell you my favorite anti dollar plays. I like long Europe Fund at a 12% discount to Net Asset Value or Germany Fund at a 13% discount. I also like New Germany at a 24% discount, but that is a riskier play.

But my favorite Euro play for small timers and big timers are the Euro calls, XEU, listed on the Philly Exchange. These can be done in fairly small dollar size in a 90/10 or other very conservative mode.

I would not own Lucent or Worldcom stock, so I'd recommend the long calls in a 90/10. You need your money to keep some distance from the risk in these things. By using protected calls, you have the upside, which could be substantial, but not the downside. It is like being able to watch a nature show on t.v. and get the learning experience of how a skunk lives without the stink getting on your bank account. <g>
