It always depends on the neighborhood. When I lived on Maryland Avenue in Annapolis,next to the Naval Academy, there was more noise than there is by my mother's apartment in southeast Washington. She lives on a side street, in nice old brownstones. As for trees and such, what do you think Central Park is for? LOL!

My wife met the new mayor at a breakfast meeting of association executives last year. Very impressive, the closest thing to a Republican that one could currently manage in Washington......
