hi reid

i see you have your hands full. please go with what gottfried and any others have for you. i want to contribute, but i am smack dab in the middle of a project here and fear that i won't be able to respond for awhile.

very briefly..... i've been told that the floppies that come with new drives should only be used to format and partition as a last resort. you might want to see if you can avoid using their floppy.

wish i had more but i must get back to the task at hand. i'll check back

good luck

:)

Hi Reid,
Don't know if this helps, but I tried to install Win95/8 (I forget which) for two days once and then discovered the CMOS date setting was bad and this causes the installation to error out. Setting it to the correct date cleared everything up.
