First, the judge found that he had committed perjury, in essence, and fined him. Actions need not be treasonable to be impeachable. By committing a fraud against the court, he failed to uphold his oath to faithfully execute the laws. Second, I did not read through Derek's post, I skimmed it. If he were justifying the massive placement of American troops, then we disagree. Third, in light of what happened in the run up to World War II, and the expressed ideology of Communism, our posture in the Cold War was eminently reasonable. Your jeers merely show the irresponsibility of the fringe..........
