Bad timing. The USSC has a SOLID 5-4 conservative majority. The Republicans control both houses of Congress. Any changes to the USSC in the next 4 years will be on the conservative side. Congress will remain in Republican control for the next two years. After that... ???? And I like your closing comments I hope they opt to sue the african tribes who conquered and sold those slaves to whites, in addition to the Muslim slave traders. And I hope that reparations received will be properly shared with the descendants of all Union soldiers who fought and died, not only to preserve the nation, but also to destroy slavery. Only fair.
