My point is that I think there will be rallies for Yahoo. I think that it will be a while (months / quarters ?) before people have a clear view of the demise of the advertising model for the internet, and whether Yahoo has exhausted its growth. I will just point out that it was very clear that Amzn was going bankrupt from 2 years ago. Yet only now is that view being reflected in its stock. So my conclusion is that the new economists still have a few rallies to look forward to. Which is not different from your view. Its just that being early in the last three years is the same as being wrong (in its portfolio-killing impact).
