Message 15106793 Although its true the pivot points for calling the short and put plays did come from the technical analysis charts, simply because we had to see where possible points of support might be taken out, the actual performance in the Dow and Nasdaq today were determined by external forces. The fundamental realities inherent in these overbought blimps, there are now blimps in the dow also. I was able to go short already at 9:35 because of heavy reading done on the ECONOMIC front (i.e. Wall Street Journal this morning,Barron's reading, and some dow jones articles early this morning)..
