I just considered it a romance/comedy and never gave it much thought. I really thought Cage was supposed to play it over-the-top. I really liked "Midnight Run". Grodin is a good and unstated actor. I remember the scene you are referring to and would agree. Then again, De Niro delivers more than he does not. I think "Kiss of the Spider Woman" was the first film I remember seeing Hurt in. I missed "Body Heat" at the theater, so Kiss might have been the first. Always like Raul Julia, very tragic to go so young. I know of Percy Adlon's movies but have not seen any. I will add them to the list. I didn't do as much damage to that list as I would have liked over the past holiday week, but that seems to be the way it always goes. Montegna was the guy that was just supposed to show him the good time in Vegas and not get into any trouble. Montegna was the mobster who just didn't seem to fit and was always messing up the easy tasks his superiors were giving him, and that is why they gave him the task of babysitting Ameche. I love the part where Ameche says nothing but everyone in the room thinks he has just spit out the secret of life. Sometimes less is a lot more -vbg- We agree to disagree completely about GB2. I don't see it, and I do remember something about it now. There was a painting that was sliming people and oh well, maybe I will rent it again when my list is finished. Good luck with the family. Luck is what is needed sometime. I just prefer than mine don't call looking for something...and that is always what it is, wanting something. HAGO and may the bull run tomorrow for at least 4 of the next 5 days. Then who knows what, but probably not good short term. TH
