A bit of over-correction is a good thing. The "irrational exuberance" to the upside was so nutty that some pain and suffering to the downside is good medicine for all those wild and crazy "new economy" investors! We are seeing the last of the high PE pigs getting taken out to the woodshed and slaughtered. While some stocks are cheap by historical standards, there are still a lot of darlings that can shed 50% more and still have outrageous PEs by historical measures.
