well if for example you remember CA blamed their troubles two qtrs ago in part on slow euroland sales....by extension everything else did indeed follow them down, even non-mips dependent software companies...

so SAP/it's competitor, one might think are indicators for more super software oosiks heading our way.

just a feeling.... but seems like a super cluster cluck is about to get started in software... the quotes from that story had an element of fear you usually don't see.

guess we'll soon find out.

They are peeking into the abyss on GE. I told them not to mess with the Seventh Seal. -g Unless we are ready to visit the next level of bull hell, I expect GE will come through with a nice rebound. I mean, after all, the TL, the 1994 one is very close now.

The storage company downgrades this morning are a joke, but they are hammering EMC anyway. Remember when we used to comment on its ridiculous strength week after week as everthing else was falling apart. It seems surreal to me now to look at the chart and see it closing in on a 50% haircut. The 1996 TL is close now and it will spark a nice bounce I would think.
