JQP, A few downgrades on chemical companies based upon full valuation FWIW. I am not familiar with that metal/alloy. But uprating programs at hydro facilities nationwide should be part of the national energy policy issues for consideration too...

Also anyone fool in warrants here? I've been looking at a couple of energy companies' warrants for purchase....

Re chemical plants:
12:23PM UBS Warburg on Chemicals : Firm downgrades the sector Market Weight
from Overweight. Feels that recent performance, which can be attributed to
anticipation of lower interest rates and energy costs, may now be fully reflected in the
price. Suggests that there is downside risk associated with potential EPS
disappointment through 1H of FY01 which may linger into 2H. Downgrades Dow,
Union Carbide and DuPont; maintains STRONG BUY on Monsanto, Sherwin-Williams
and Wellman.
