I agree. Overshooting the moving average by a huge amount to the downside seems to mean that an up move is highly probable. I have never worked out the statistics of this rigorously but it works :) I had a argument on SI with BGR about this a couple of years back. He wondered how as a supposed academic economist (sort of I have a PhD in Geography formally) I could believe in TA...
