Why should 2001 be any different than 2000. The economy sucks. Unless AG cuts .50 points in January we are in trouble. I know everyone keeps calling for a rally but because of the shape of the economy I just don't see it happening until quarter 3 at least. Wait until the earnings warnings start for quarter 1 2001. I know the market looks ahead, but when major companies start to warn come late feb or march it will not be pretty. On the bright side there are going to be some great bargains if you have a mid to long term outlook and look towards 2002 and 2003.
