AMCM EBITDA of $604.0K AM Communications designs, manufactures and markets network monitoring systems, which include hardware and software, to the broadband communications market for cable TV systems. For the six months ended 9/30/00, revenues rose 83% to $7.6 million. Net income totaled $550 thousand vs. a loss of $848 thousand. Revenues reflect market acceptance of the new products and increased marketing activities. AM Communications (AM), Inc. designs, manufactures and markets network monitoring systems that include hardware and software, to the broadband communications market, primarily for cable television (CATV) systems. AM has applied its technical strengths in RF communications, microprocessor-controlled circuits and application software to produce a proprietary system that allows CATV operators to monitor the performance and operation of the complete broadband transmission network, thereby enhancing network reliability and optimizing performance. The Company's product categories include Plant Equipment Monitoring Devices, Monitoring Control Units, Headend Monitoring Devices Network Monitoring Software System and QuickStat Plant Management Systems. All AMCM needs now is another quarter with profits & that should not be hard with the backlog off orders it had last quarter.
