"Do you blame your physician for not blowing smoke up your keester, too?"

You lost me here...but yes, I am blaming the Pres elect for not taking a more positive stand on the mkts coupled with immature finger pointing vs commanding leadership and executive control...but hey, if you think he's trying to blow smoke up my rear, you would know better than I and I think that the next 4 yrs will tell us just how thick that smoke can get and just how far up your keyster this man will and can go....anyone got an endoscope handy?

"Talk therapy" only goes so far with the market. At a certain point, the fundamentals have to be sound, and policy has to reflect current reality. Do you blame your physician for not blowing smoke up your keester, too?<

Uh, hello... Economies are about confidence, confidence you're paycheck shows up, confidence your vendors pay you, confidence is the whole game. You undermine confidence and you undermine the whole basis an economy works on.

You might want to read the new book about AG Maestro, its very interesting to read about AG's constant concern that confidence not get too great or too low.

What you've got now is a terrible combination of ignorance(Bush) and malevolent manipulation by people from the Nixon administration who learned all about that from the master himself.

You guys raved endlessly about character and leadership on this board for months and MONTHS!!! Well??? Where's the friggin' leadership??? Bush is clueless and Cheney is a dinosaur. They are undermining people's confidence in a cynical attempt to bring the economy down fast so they don't look bad when they're in office and so that they can try to force through their tax cut for all their buddies.

Face it, you think Clinton lacked character because of a BJ and his unwillingness to admit it. But, you make up excuse after excuse for these boobs who couldn't give a crap whether regular working people lose their jobs or not.

This is the kind of behavior I would expect from people who lack any legitimacy to claim and hold the offices they have wormed their way into.
