I don't care who coined what phrase.........the Republicans and specifically Ronald Reagan quadrupled the national debt. One can hardly equate massive overspending with debt caused by a home mortgage or a car. For many years I worked for a company that had several gov't contracts. They were relatively small-timers but the waste and monetary gouging was huge. VERY LITTLE TRICKLED DOWN. But then again.........some people enjoy getting p----- on! Frankly, it's not my bag.
