To All Muscle Heads, Clarence Bass has noted that there is a co. that sells small plates for olympic bars, though they can also be used on standard bars. They sell 1/2 pound and 3/4 pound plates. If you've been working out as long as I have, you will find the five pound jump required by regular Olympic sets can be too much. 1-1 1/2 pounds is almost unnoticeable, but it is progress.

One caveat: they are awfully expensive. Worth it for me where I hit sticking points regularly in heavy lifts. But perhaps not for everyone. The address is fractionalplates.com Also, if you order, be sure to read your Email every day, as they require a confirmation before they will send them. Very odd, but understandable.

Michael,
Both TIBX and BEAS are selling for 28 or 29 times sales. I agree with you, I love the companies, but it seems unlike your usual self to buy at these prices. What's the explanation?
