So when calculating PE ratios, you almost always look at forward earnings, not trailing earnings.

Ahem. The "E" in PE is an abbreviation of "earnings," not "estimates."

so based on Friday's close, SEBL's PE is around 102

I am looking at the real time p/e on my level II screen and it shows a p/e of 220 with SEBL at 59 1/4 down 8 3/8.

Dont know if the p/e is based on ttm earnings or SEBL's fiscal year earnings.

But the discrepancy between 102 and 220 is huge.
