Tony --It is interesting that Greenspan did not want any tax cuts ---I too would rather had have the money use to pay the national debt off ---more fair and effects every citizen just not the rich or poor but everyone . He has given control to Bush to have a tax cut pass now .
Their are only two ways to moved the economy ahead ---lower taxes or interest rates . The real problem is that Greenspan has destroyed the ace in the hole that we have had the past ten years ----productivity . Without technology the dollar becomes weaker ( we do not compete as well ), interst rates remain high ( stagflation ) ,etc . What is really amazing is the logic behind doing all this harm ---.8% increase in inflation year over year .
I have a real problem asking the man who destroyed the economy and the market to rescue it . It is time for him to leave and a fresh perspective put in place ---their is no logic to all of this
