mm - is this ever going to end or should we just forget equities for the next few years and sit on some fixed interest?

The propsect of another year of this isn't very appealing.

I guess it depnds on whether you think there will be a recovery in techs within the next five years or whether the whole idea of investment in tech is just finished no matter how good any of these companies perform.

I appreciate the warning MM. I'm just getting my big toe wet for now. Fortunately, I do have a good deal of cash to put to work. I'm betting we will get a January effect in the second half of the month. I may not be buying at the bottom, but I'm should be getting in at the lower end of the trading range for 2001.
