Mary, You are 100% correct. They have let the air out of every sector now. Wouldn't you expect money on the sidelines to reenter in the next few days? Some of this selling might be tax related as funds with gains on the ciscos sell them now to move into old economy stocks or apparently chips today. Maybe there is some raising of cash for january taxes going on too. All of this exaggerates the situation. There is some talk of Greenspan lowering rates on friday. Hopefully he will send the signal with a half point cut. The psychology out there needs to be changed. A world wide downturn will occur if AG really has lost it. I dont believr he has and after this mornings numbers, the nasdq crash today, and fridays employment stats, AG should act decisively. Lets hope.
