Does any one have any idea what is running these products? Is it Linux? It might be MicroOS, the OS from e.Digital -- but I'm only "guessing". I say that because two recent retirees from Intel joined the EDIG Board in the past year, and I do know that EDIG has been working on projects for Intel -- but not sure WHAT projects.

Rinks,

Most likely they are running BlueCat Linux from Lynx. For some of the devices such as an MP3 player, there is no need to use any operating system.

Regards,

Khan
